Education You Can Use in the Real World

With so much emphasis on increasing rigor in schools, education appears to only focus on getting students into college.  Students who do not have an interest in immediately entering college are often left unprepared for the world of work after graduation.  RWI focuses on teaching students what they need to thrive in the real world.

All students who attend RWI will learn financial planning, management skills, business writing skills, critical thinking, and some marketing skills.  To top off their educational experience, students will also work in and manage school-based businesses.

All curricula are written by staff and are focused on the students' career paths so students feel they are learning something they can use right away.  As part of the graduation requirements, students in the 12th grade will present a final project to a comittee of local volunteers who will offer feedback regarding the presentation.
